Consignment Agreement

We will sell your quality non-damaged, clean clothing, fashion accessories & select gift items under the following terms. If the items sells within the first 30 days, there will be a 50/50 split. Thereafter, the split will be 60 to store, 40 to consignor. After 90 days, it is your responsibility to check on, locate and retrieve your merchandise if you would like back as we have 1000s of items. If not, they become store property and will be disposed of, or handled at our discretion. We may extend the period on certain items, where appropriate. If you desire to retrieve your item before contract expiration, a 10% fee will apply to cover the time and expense of pricing your items, displaying in our boutique and additional marketing methods used for exposure.

The shop will determine the price at which the consignor’s items will be sold based on the market. 

We will gladly listen to your input if you are hoping to get a certain amount from a piece. If available, please bring any and all receipts or tags when consigning so we can more accurately price your items. Bella River Boutique reserves the right to reduce the price of any article at our own discretion without the consent of the consignor and may run sales/promotions to help sell merchandise. Call between 3-5 days to check if all items were accepted after drop-off, pickup any items not taken within 10 days, or they will be donated. There is little storage space to hold for any longer. If the shop becomes too full and items are lagging what is in demand, we reserve the right to pull inventory early and will notify you. If items need preparation to go on the floor, a small fee may apply. A nominal buyers fee may be added to each item.

Cash payments for less than $25.00 can be picked up in the store at any time. Amounts over 

$25.00 can be applied towards a purchase at any time, otherwise checks will be prepared once a month and available for pickup in the store. If preferred, we can mail the check and a $1.00 processing fee will be deducted. A statement of items sold can be emailed to you upon your request.

While we take every precaution to keep all items safe, we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods. We recommend expensive items be covered under your home insurance policy. If any item provided to Bella River Boutique for resale by the Consignor is found to be counterfeit or if we incur any liability as a result of the sale of such an item, the consignor agrees to indemnify Bella River Boutique for any damages including any and all judgments, liens, fines, etc. By signing this agreement you warrant that your items are 100% authentic.
